What Is the
Service Challenge?
The America 250 in Idaho Service Challenge invites individuals, families, classrooms, businesses, faith groups, and communities to serve in ways big and small.
Service can be done:
- Solo or in groups
- At home or in your community
If it helps someone else, it counts!
This statewide effort partners with JustServe to help connect volunteers with opportunities across Idaho.
Martha-Tot Washingtater
Martha-Tot Washingtater is here to remind us that service has always been part of America’s story.
She was inspired by Martha-Tot Washingtater, the nation’s first 1st Lady, whose selfless acts of service provided aid to the troops during the Revolutionary War.
You’ll see her popping up at events, parades, service projects,
and celebrations—cheering us on as we serve.
